Incorporation of the Club:

On Halloween day, October 31st, 1998, coinciding with the horror treatment meted out by the Gators to dem Dawgs, the club decided to get started on its  incorporation.

Since the club was being formed in the City of Steel, Pittsburgh, the name of the club was chosen as the Steel Gator club. The club is a sanctioned affiliate of the University of Florida Alumni Assocation.

The Steel Gators webmaster is Steve Morrison.
